11U travel baseball team coached by former MLB player, Ramon Morel, and minor league players, Alex Pepe, Travis Ozvga, and David Dinatale. All field and playing decisions will be made by the Head Coach. The difference with this team and may other travel baseball teams is that the Head Coach is paid to train and coach the players at practice and during our games with no interference with any parent type coaching or decision making on the field. THIS IS A PROFESSIONALLY COACH TEAM ONLY. Positions will be earned. Parents with baseball experience WILL ONLY help at practices as the HEAD COACH mandates. This is a fully sponsored team. Please see our website at

You can contact us for try out at or by reaching Mr. Corbera at 561-352-9453 to arrange a try-out. We will be practicing for upcoming tournaments and 2015 Spring season as an 11U Team.

    Ramon Morel – Head Coach

Ramón Rafael Morel, a former Major League Baseball pitcher, was born on Thursday, August 15, 1974, in Villa Gonzalez, Santiago, Dominican Republic. Morel was 20 years old when he broke into the big leagues on July 6, 1995, with the Pittsburgh Pirates. Morel played for the Pittsburgh Pirates from 1995 to 1997 and with the Chicago Cubs in 1997. Morel is EXCELLENT WITH KIDS.

    David Dinatale – Hitting/Outfield Coach

David grew up in Parkland, Florida and graduated from Stoneman Douglas High School. He was drafted out of high school by the Pittsburgh Pirates, but decided to go play college baseball instead. He went on to play baseball at UCF for one year and then transferred to University of Miami. He played baseball at the University of Miami for 3 years from 2007-2009. He earned my degree in Finance with accounting. Following his 2009 year at Miami, he was drafted to play professional baseball by the Colorado Rockies and signed with the Rockies in the summer of 2009. He spent 2 seasons with the Rockies and decided to go a different direction in my life and attend law school.

    Alex Pepe – Pitching Coach
Drafted by the Texas Rangers in the 44th round of the 2008 MLB June Amateur Draft from Florida Atlantic University (Boca Raton, FL) and the Toronto Blue Jays in the 36th round of the 2009 MLB June Amateur Draft from Florida Atlantic University (Boca Raton, FL).

Bionix is a new 9U travel baseball team based out of Semmes, Alabama. We are looking for several true athletes who are committed to the game and who are willing to do whatever it takes to perform to their highest potential. Our main focus will be player development, fundamentals, competitive sportsmanship, and teamwork, all while instilling life lessons and promoting family values. Our plan is to start small and play in tournaments locally (Biloxi to Pensacola) and see where that takes us. Practices will be once or twice a week in the Semmes area, but are subject to change in the weeks leading up to a tournament or at the discretion of the coaching staff. Three years experience is recommended, and pitching experience is a plus. Must not turn 10 before April 30th, 2015.

We will be having an open tryout on Sunday, July 27th at 3:00pm at Semmes Park. We look forward to meeting all potential players and building one team with many goals! Please contact Jason Coggin at 251-591-2822, Jason Warren 251-401-6862, or email us at for more information.
